What we store

Rooms: scripts, settings, take logs and voice-follow transcript segments — kept for 45 days after last activity, then deleted. Accounts: your email address, plan, room list and monthly voice-usage counters. That's the whole list: no ads, no analytics trackers, no selling data.

Cookies & measurement

We set exactly one cookie, and only when you sign in (your session). That's why there's no cookie banner — there's nothing to consent to. Traffic is measured with first-party, cookieless daily page counters (a number per page per day; no IP addresses, no fingerprints, no third parties).

Microphone & speech

Voice follow is off by default. When on, the microphone is active only while the prompter is rolling. Speech recognition runs through your browser's built-in engine (on-device in Safari; Google's speech service in Chrome) — audio is not sent to ScrollSloth's servers, only the recognized text of your takes is stored in your room.

Processors

Stripe (payments — card data never touches our servers), Resend (sign-in emails), Hetzner (EU server hosting, Germany).

Your rights

GDPR applies: ask us to export or delete your data at hello@scrollsloth.com. Deleting your account removes your email, usage counters and room ownership records; rooms themselves expire on their own schedule.
