Browser teleprompter platform

The teleprompter that runs the take.

One room, every device: your phone scrolls on the rig, a second phone is the remote, your laptop directs. It follows your voice, logs every take, and hands your editor transcripts, captions and the starred one.

No app. No signup. No install. Works with any beam-splitter rig — or none at all.

TAKE 3 ● 🎤 following your voice 1:47
One room · every device

Scan a QR, pick a view, shoot.

A five-letter code connects everything on set. No pairing, no dongles, no “is it on the same wifi” — it's a URL.

This is ScrollSloth.
The words you're reading right now? They're scrolling on it.
It listens while I talk. When I pause— it waits for me. When I wander off…

📜 Prompter

Goes on the rig. Mirrored text, buttery scroll, tap to play. Countdown, timer, reading line, colors — and the screen never sleeps mid-take.

▶︎

🎛️ Remote

A second phone controls everything: play, speed, size, nudge, block jumps — and the ⭐ button that marks the keeper the moment it happens.

🧑‍💻 Master

The director's seat on a laptop: script library, live position, full-text editing with Push live — the prompter updates mid-read without jumping.

Voice follow

It listens. You talk.
The script keeps up.

  • The prompter follows your actual pace — pause, and it waits; rush, and it keeps up. No footpedal, no speed-fiddling.
  • Ad-lib freely: the matcher holds position and catches you when you come back to the script.
  • Built for Hungarian and English — suffix-tolerant matching that survives real speech, not just dictation.
  • The microphone is live only while the prompter rolls. Never in the background.
After the take

Your editor gets more than footage.

  • Script-aligned transcripts — because ScrollSloth knows the script, names and brand terms come out right, take by take.
  • Deviation diff — see exactly what was skipped, changed or improvised in every take.
  • Compliance check — mark a line mandatory and get warned if it didn't fully land. Pharma-client proof.
  • SRT captions & take sheet — subtitles per take, plus a CSV of every take with stars and durations for the edit bay.
Scripts that direct

A script format you already know.

Paste anything — the 🧹 Tidy button turns docs into prompter-ready scripts. Three tiny conventions do the rest.

  • Blocks get jump buttons on the remote and their own time budget.
  • Direction notes show dimmed on the prompter — visible, never spoken.
  • Mandatory lines are compliance-checked on the recap.
And the small things that aren't small

Set-proof by design.

🖱️

Any cheap clicker works

Bluetooth page-turner remotes are just keyboards. Pair one, press play. No proprietary dongle.

🎥

OBS overlay

A transparent lower-third browser source that follows the live position — prompting inside your stream.

📲

Installs like an app

Add to home screen and ScrollSloth launches fullscreen from your rig phone, every time.

🪞

Mirror everything

Horizontal and vertical flip for any beam-splitter glass. Colors, size, margins, reading line — all yours.

📶

Survives shaky wifi

The prompter keeps scrolling through drops and resyncs silently when the connection returns.

⏱️

Knows your pace

Live duration estimates per block while you edit — cut to length before you're on camera.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Do I need to install anything?

No. ScrollSloth runs in the browser on every device — create a room, scan the QR with the other devices, done. If you want it to feel like a native app on your rig phone, use “Add to Home Screen”.

Does it work with my teleprompter hardware?

Yes — any rig that holds a phone or tablet (Desview, Neewer, Elgato, DIY glass). Horizontal and vertical mirroring cover every beam-splitter setup. No rig? Prop the phone next to the lens and use the reading line.

How does voice follow handle my microphone?

The mic is only active while the prompter is rolling — press pause and it's off. Recognition uses your browser's built-in speech engine (on-device in Safari; Chrome uses its own speech service). Voice follow is optional and off by default.

What happens to my scripts and takes?

They live in your room, which expires after 45 days of inactivity. Anyone with the room code can join — treat codes like meeting links. Accounts with private libraries are on the roadmap.

My talent went off-script. Will the prompter chase them?

No — that's the point of the matcher. It holds position during ad-libs and only advances when it hears the script again, up to about forty words ahead. Worst case, the remote's nudge buttons are right there.

Slow scroll. Smooth talk.

Your next take is thirty seconds away.
